Our History:
In May 1997 almost 100 service providers for students with disabilities
in Arizona's colleges and universities got together to discuss the issues
facing their institutions, and how to best serve their populations. This
group has now evolved into AzPAC, the Arizona Postsecondary Access Coalition.
AzPAC was conceived for universities, community colleges, trade schools,
technical colleges, both public and private; any institution of higher
education that struggles with the complexities of service delivery to
students with disabilities.
With the ever-changing laws, court cases, and decisions by the Office
of Civil Rights that impact our schools, there is a need for a professional
organization to turn to for support and direction. |
